Shifting To Other Computer Os Needs Time For Adjustments

The first computer I own was just a blessing to me. It was given to me by my former director. Everyone in the company I worked before is using Microsoft OS. Some of them is using windows XP, some windows Vista and now there are many of them who are shifting to windows 7. But I was surprised in my recent visit with them. Our director is now using imac laptop. And so I asked him, “How is it?” And he told me that he really had a hard time adjusting with this new operating system. Being so used to microsoft’s different OS and all of a sudden, shift to imac is really an adjustment. Initially, he didn’t know how to connect imac to internet. He has a lot to learn with the new system; like the setting up and organizing his files. He said that the shifting to imac has both advantages and disadvantages. And one disadvantage to him is; he’s the only one using imac in the company branch, making him out of place sometimes when they are discussing about computers. Like most of his collegues, I used windows xp and now I am using windows 7. But since I haven’t tried the mac OS, I have in no position to say which one is best.
